About Temple Baptist Church
Who are we?
- We are the Temple Baptist Church of Cherry Valley,
Massachusetts.
- We are a group of about 200 people who come from all
walks of life and locales - including Cherry Valley,
Leicester, Rochdale, Worcester, Auburn, Charlton,
Spencer, North Brookfield, Shrewsbury, Millbury,
Sutton, Northbridge, Whitinsville, Dudley, Holden,
Rutland, West Boylston, and Westboro.
- We share a close relationship with each other and
a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
What do we believe?
- We believe the Bible is the source and authority
for all we believe and do.
- We believe that God offers forgiveness, eternal
life in heaven, and a purpose-filled life on earth
to all who personally make a choice to trust
Jesus Christ as Savior.
- We believe that God has uniquely designed every
human being for His special purposes, and we share
in His mission of helping people become everything
God designed them to be.
What do we do?
- We meet together to worship the Lord every Sunday
morning at 9:30 a.m. We use a contemporary worship style
and have practical "down to earth" sermons from the
Bible. Dress is informal and relaxed. We have a Junior
Church program during our worship service for children
beginning at age 4 through the 2nd grade.
- We study the Bible together Sundays 11:00 - 12:00
and Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m., and seek to live by
what it says the rest of the week.
- We have full Bible and character building programs
for both children and teens, and provide a nursery for
our smallest and most vocal members.
- We warmly invite you to join with us as we go and
grow together on our shared spiritual journey.
